Our business is founded on building relationships while providing a valuable service to our clients. For the majority of us, buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial decisions that we will make in our lifetime. Our goal at Coastal Inspections is to provide our customers with a  professional unbiased review and report on a home’s systems, components and their condition.

All of our inspectors have completed training through American Home Inspectors Training Institute and have obtained National certification. They are licensed and insured in the State in which they operate.

The inspection that we provide is a comprehensive evaluation of the property that includes the structure, roof, attic, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems as well as any built-in appliances installed in your home. Our inspections are conducted in accordance with the requirements of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI) Standards of Conduct and are a visual noninvasive-nondestructive inspection.

We recommend that all of our clients participate in the inspection. This not only lets you see firsthand what we are looking at but also allows us to provide the additional service of educating you about the specific characteristics of your home and its systems. Our inspectors will point out to you how to operate, monitor and maintain key elements of your home. Our belief is that knowledge is power and by being aware of how things work, their current condition, the maintenance required and what to monitor you’ll be able to extend the life of your home’s systems and reduce your maintenance cost throughout their lifespan. In addition to the standard inspection our inspectors are trained to identify any issues that may impact the health and safety of your family and will point these out during your walkthrough. As a final part of the process, your inspector will sit down with you and go over the results and will be able to provide you an electronic copy of the report prior to leaving the site.  We understand that there will be a lot to take in regarding the results and understand that you may have further questions after the inspection is completed. Please do not feel pressured to make sure that you ask everything on the day of the inspection. We recommend that you go home, review the entire report and let us know if you have any additional questions related specifically to the inspection or if you find something else related to your home that you would just like to understand a little better. Please give us a call. We are more than willing to help. Bottom line is that we at Coastal Inspection Services want to build a relationship with our community one professional quality inspection at time and will work to be your inspection agency of choice. Please contact us today and let us assist you in the purchase of your new home.
